The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) has officially established a representative office in Shanghai, setting up in the Dishui Lake Financial Bay of the Lin-gang Special Area.

Established on March 17, the Shanghai office operates as an overseas non-governmental organization under the supervision of the Shanghai Municipal Financial Regulatory Bureau.

Founded in 1996, GARP is a non-profit organization dedicated to risk management education, research, and the promotion of international best practices. Its Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) Certification is widely recognized as a leading professional credential in the field worldwide.

The Shanghai office will operate within its approved scope, focusing on developing risk management talent and supporting the sound growth of the region's financial industry.
