Shanghai MetaPWR Electronics Co Ltd – operator of the first integrated circuits business in Phase III of the Marine Hi-Tech Innovation Park – is based in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai.

A cutting-edge industrial science and technology company focusing on power module technology, Shanghai MetaPWR Electronics Co Ltd has been nurtured in the first phase of the national science and technology business incubator in the special area.

What's more, it's achieved a rapid breakthrough in the localization of high-end power semiconductor modules, high-frequency arithmetic chip power supply modules and other high-end power converter components.

Zeng Jianhong, CEO of the company, was recently fulsome in his praise of the marine innovation park.

"The IC professional incubator, joint innovation center and automotive-grade chip validation room built in the Lin-gang marine innovation park have become a source of vitality for incubations, commercialization and industrialization – which effectively aided us in bridging the gap between research and development and commercialization," he said.

Moving forwards, plans are for the company to achieve mass production and deliveries of several mainstream IC models in 2024.

Additionally, the aim is to develop corresponding technology and product solutions for the intelligent power module IPM needs in new energy fields, such as optical storage, charging and on-board motor controllers.
