The 2024 Shanghai International Tech Law Services Conference and the Sino-European Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions Seminar took place in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area on May 28.

The event included the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between the Lin-gang Special Area Administration and the Association for Chinese Lawyers in Europe to boost collaboration in legal services, talent development, and project cooperation.

The seminar featured discussions on overseas investment risks for tech firms, European Union intellectual property protection, and EU data and artificial intelligence laws. Experts from Eurosin Capital, TMF Group, and Sherrards Solicitors shared insights, along with lawyers from well-known law firms in Beijing and Shanghai. The events also facilitated exchanges and project matchmaking activities.

Lin-gang Special Area, a hub for nearly 1,500 high-tech firms, aims to support global expansion through innovative legal services and talent acquisition. The conference sought to foster global outreach for tech companies and build a bridge for collaboration between Sino-European enterprises and the legal community.
