French students explore innovation and talent development in Lin-gang
More than 20 students and faculty from ESSCA School of Management in France visited Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area on Dec 8, extending their international business studies to the dynamic innovation hub in the city.
They examined the industrial trends, business climate, and talent policies of Lin-gang, which leads China's high-level opening to the world.
Lin-gang, a symbol of China's reform and opening-up, provided the group with a firsthand experience of innovation and a warm welcome to global talent.
At SenseTime's concept car display, a student said: "This is not just a car, it's a mobile business hub — reshaping my vision of future consumption."

The group also toured the Lin-gang Innovation Park for Returned Scholars, where staff from the high-tech marine enterprise service department outlined the full support system offered.
The park offers premium office spaces, complemented by a comprehensive service system that includes technology transfer, market integration, and capital introduction. For international entrepreneurs, a one-stop service assists with visas, registration, and legal affairs.
At a policy briefing at the Lin-gang International Talent Service Hub, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively. Officials from the Lin-gang Special Area Administration explained the comprehensive overseas talent support system, which includes work permits, housing, internships, and entrepreneurship support.

A student summarized the experience by emphasizing Lin-gang's "systematic ambition" to blend advanced technology, modern industries, global talent, and a livable environment into a unified plan.
