Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area is expanding its talent support services through a comprehensive benefits package centered on three key pillars: talent cards, welcome packages, and a pioneering enterprise annuity plan.

A promotional event for the talent benefits package was held on Jan 15 in Lin-gang, showcasing the initiatives designed to better serve both enterprises and talent in the area.

Covering key aspects such as family life and entertainment, the Lin-gang talent cards offer cardholders exclusive benefits such as subsidies for buying vehicles and discounts on a range of educational offerings. All the services can now be accessed online, including reservations and usage.

Targeting young professionals and innovators, the talent welcome packages are open to three groups: young talents who have been newly employed in Lin-gang since January 2025, first-time interns in the area, and participants in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions in Lin-gang.

Eligible applicants can register via the Lin-gang Makers' Hub mini-program and receive benefits worth more than 500 yuan ($71.8), covering dining, transportation, and more.

As Shanghai's first district-level talent enterprise annuity program, the Lin-gang Special Area Talent Enterprise Annuity Plan introduces annual subsidies of up to 10,000 yuan per person.

The plan features five major highlights, including a broader eligibility scope, flexible allocation ratios, independent selection of incentive coverage, an expanded contribution rate range, and diversified contribution base options.

Together, the package forms a systematic support framework. Moving forward, Lin-gang will continue refining its policy framework to fuel the growth of Lin-gang Sci-tech Innovation City.
