Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area is building a vibrant cultural scene with events such as the Talent Night New Year's concert, transforming the area into a dynamic community that offers more than just career opportunities.

Held on Jan 30, the 2026 Talent Night New Year's concert opened with the Spring Festival Overture. Featuring Western classics like Salut d'Amour and traditional Chinese pieces such as Dance Music of Yao, the concert showcased Lin-gang's open and inclusive cultural character.

As a key cultural brand event developed by Lin-gang, the concert has evolved from a high-quality performance into a platform reflecting the area's commitment to fostering and promoting talent.

This remains central to Lin-gang's development. The area has continuously reformed its talent mechanisms, optimizing housing, education, and other services to help professionals settle and grow in the area.

In 2025, Lin-gang introduced 12 policies for innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting 51,000 new talents over the year. The Lin-gang Elite Card service was upgraded, with more than 11,000 approvals issued and benefit packages reaching over 6,000 recipients.
