The Magnolia Awards Ceremony of the 31st Shanghai TV Festival will be held in Lin-gang Special Area on June 26, spotlighting some of the most prominent figures and productions in the Chinese and international television industries.

Among the overseas nominees are mini-series Generations (Denmark) and This is not a Murder Mystery (Belgium); TV series All her Fault (US) and Rise of the Raven (Hungary, Germany and Austria); documentary series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth Season 2 (US) and Michael Jackson: The Trial (UK); documentaries Child of Dust (Poland, Vietnam, Sweden, Czech Republic and Qatar) and The Force of Destiny (Italy and France); and animated works Beastly Crimes (Russia, Canada and Moldova) and Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld YR 1 (US).

Born to Be Alive, Swords into Plowshares, and This Thriving Land stood out among domestic productions, with each receiving eight nominations.

It is the third time for Lin-gang to host the Magnolia Awards Ceremony, as a three-year cooperation agreement was signed with Shanghai International Film & TV Events Center in 2024.

The Shanghai TV Festival has reinforced Lin-gang's rise as a hub for film, television, and cultural and creative industries. A complete industrial chain, covering content creation, IP commercialization, TV and film production, and global distribution, has taken shape, backed by AI-empowered film and television production platforms, digital production bases, and overseas distribution channels within the area.
