Columbia University alumni tap into Lin-gang's investment potential
Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area welcomed a delegation of Columbia University alumni from across Asia on June 6 and 7, offering them a firsthand perspective on the area's investment advantages and opportunities.
The 50 alumni visited Contemporary Amperex Intelligent Technology (Shanghai), a leading provider of battery-centric chassis products and technical services, and Shanghai Technology Exchange International Trading Center (Global Cross-border Technology Trade Center) to feel the vibrant pulse of Lin-gang's technological innovation.

Meanwhile, a seminar on investment and development in frontier industries was held on June 6. Representatives from enterprises and organizations such as Shanghai Engine Community, Arm China, and Deeplumen had in-depth discussions on the similarities and differences between China and the US in investment directions, strategies, and talent development, as well as the localized practices of overseas returnees and technology enterprises in AI and IC.
Six guests elaborated on topics including the differences between China and the US in AI talent strategies and innovation ecosystems, incubation and investment strategies for early-stage hard-tech projects, and localization strategies of multinational corporations, while having exchanges with alumni on entrepreneurial experience, localized business practices, capital support, and resource networking.
