Lin-gang biomedical camp opens applications to intl young talent

Applications are now open for the Life Science Blue Bay Innovation Camp, inviting international young talent passionate about biomedicine to gain hands-on experience and explore future entrepreneurship opportunities in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area.

As phase III of 2026 Seed Future Lin-gang, the program will offer participants firsthand insights into China's biomedical sector — from R&D to commercialization — through site visits to local industrial parks and leading companies.

Meanwhile, Chinese and international students will form mixed teams to tackle real-world business challenges and develop practical problem-solving skills. Those interested in starting their own business can also learn about the one-person company (OPC) model at Zero Cube.

Dates: Sept 22-24

Fee: There is no participation fee, with meals and accommodation fully covered.

Participant quota: 35

Preferred majors: Biomedical science, clinical medicine, chemical engineering, business administration, digital media, computer science, AI, and data science.

Ideal candidates:

- Currently enrolled in or graduated within the past year from a top-tier university.

- Interested in internships, employment, or entrepreneurship in Lin-gang.

- Strong cross-cultural communication and solution design skills. Overseas experience and English fluency are preferred.

- Able to document Lin-gang's futuristic innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem via vlogs.

Schedule:

Sept 22

6-8 pm: Arrive in Lin-gang and check in at Youth Hostel

Sep 23

9-10 am: Visit Life Science Blue Bay

10-11:30 am: Visit Shanghai HeartCare Medical Technology Co Ltd

1-2 pm: Visit Zero Cube OPC community
