On June 27-28, the 29th Shanghai TV Festival hosted its three major events – the Magnolia Awards ceremony, the red carpet event, and the "Magnolia Gala Night" award nomination event – in the Lin-gang Center, a new landmark of Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area.

This marks the first time in its 38-year history that the Shanghai TV Festival has moved its awards ceremony outside the city center.

Various TV festival-themed markets lit up Lin-gang. Visitors and residents enjoyed a variety of food, beer, arts and crafts, trendy toys, live music, and interactive games, all of which added to the city's lively atmosphere.

The Berliner Philharmoniker, a 142-year-old German symphony, played a chamber concert at the Dishui Lake Theater on the evenings of June 25 and 28.

The first annual exhibition of Lin-gang artists also opened on June 26 at the Dishui Lake Pier. The exhibition featured paintings, photographs, calligraphy, sculptures, and ceramics, all of which showcased the artists' passion for both Lin-gang and art.

Lin-gang Special Area also curated two city walk routes exclusively for the TV festival. These routes included top attractions such as the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, China Maritime Museum, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, Wintastar Shanghai, and leisurely sightseeing paths around Dishui Lake.

Additionally, the Dishui Lake branch of Duoyun Bookstore set up a special section for authors of works nominated for this year's Magnolia TV awards.
