Lin-gang Special Area to add a new landmark by Dishui Lake
Exterior decoration of the main structure of the Ring of Glory, a new landmark in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area, has recently been completed, meaning construction is now in the final stretch.
With a diameter of 153 meters, the Ring of Glory serves as a core part of the Dishui Lake Financial Bay. It spans four 46-meter-tall commercial office buildings near the lake and covers a construction area of about 6,000 square meters.

Standing at a height of 56.15 meters at its peak, the ring structure itself is 6.6 meters high and 19 meters wide. The steel structure engineering, weighing over 10,000 metric tons, was innovatively constructed using a collaborative approach combining in-situ assembly of scattered components at high altitudes with integral lifting technology. Coupled with digital simulation previews and real-time monitoring systems throughout the process, this method enabled precise closure of the steel structure.
To achieve a transparent visual effect, both the inner and outer walls of the ring adopt a glass curtain wall system. All 192 curtain wall panels are custom-made from seven-layer special glass, with the single largest panel weighing up to 4.5 tons.

In the future, the Ring of Glory will serve as a vibrant hub for urban sightseeing, event launches, and art and cultural exhibitions, becoming a cultural landmark and popular gathering place in the Lin-gang Special Area.
