The 10th Dishui Lake New Year Run was held in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area on the first day of 2026. The 8-kilometer route was filled with 3,000 enthusiastic runners, marking an energetic start to the new year.

Since its inception in 2016, the Dishui Lake New Year Run has attracted participants from a wide range of industries, such as technology and manufacturing. Initially a sporting event, it has since evolved into a comprehensive platform that integrates urban marketing with industry collaboration. Today, the event stands as a cultural symbol of Lin-gang.

To mark its 10th anniversary, the event showcased a collection of stories, images, and videos from participants across the past nine editions. In line with the development of Lin-gang sci-tech innovation city, the run integrated technological elements, featuring humanoid robots and robotic dogs.

The event significantly boosted commercial vitality in Lin-gang by innovatively linking the ticket stub economy with event rights, covering more than 400 merchants and offering more than 100 consumption perks.

Centered around the New Year Run, a New Year carnival brought together Duoyun Bookstore, Dishui Lake Theater, Turing market, and numerous quality hotels, offering a diverse range of activities from sports to tourism.

The Dishui Lake New Year Run has risen in stature in tandem with Lin-gang's remarkable transformation from tidal flats to a thriving hub of science and innovation, while also highlighting the stories of many people who have pursued their dreams in Lin-gang over the past decade.
